Carrie Underwood can have the NFL; Garth Brooks is staking the SEC.
Brooks is teaming up with the college football conference and CBS for a new theme song, "Pure Adrenaline," that will be used for "SEC On CBS" broadcasts this fall. The song will be customized each week with references to the teams playing in the "SEC Game of the Week," with a video featuring Brooks that will air as promos and before each broadcast.
"Pure Adrenaline" will make its debut on September 3, when the SEC's Texas A&M plays UCLA. Brooks has said he plans to release a new studio album as well as a holiday set soon, but no other information has been revealed.
