Eric Church has fired a new salvo in his outspoken war against ticket scalpers.
The star posted a message on Facebook saying that he and his camp have "identified nearly a thousand tickets that were purchased by scalpers and were able to take the tickets back" for upcoming shows in Sioux Falls, S.D. (January 14), Brooklyn (January 27) and Boston (January 28). The captured tickets will be put on sale today (December 29). "Eric is not going to let scalpers beat out true fans!" the message declares.
Church's tour begins January 13 in Lincoln, Neb. and is currently set to wrap with a two-night stand May 26-27 in Nashville.
We identified nearly a thousand tickets that were purchased by scalpers and were able to take the tickets back. We are putting some great seats back on sale Thursday at 10 am local time on the official ticketing sites for venues in Brooklyn, Boston, and Sioux Falls.
