Meet: Kate Cameron

From: Duxbury, MA

Now resides in: Nashville, TN

Describes her sound: Pop/rock/R&B with a country flair

Plays: Guitar, piano, mandolin, drums, bass...anything she can get her hands on.

Berklee College of Music grad Kate Cameron has been singing her heart out since she was just 8 years old, but decided to make it a profession when she was 18. I first came to know Kate years ago, after seeing a video she tweeted of her performing a cover song.  That performance was obviously a stand out, because shortly thereafter,  Kate was performing live at various Country 102.5 promotional events and appearances. She has played pre-party shows for Jason Aldean, Zac Brown Band, Thomas Rhett, Miranda Lambert, Garth Brooks and more, all over town. Her biggest country influences have been Eric Church, Ed Sheeran, Miranda Lambert, Aerosmith and Susan Tedeschi. Cameron was raised on all of it in the beautiful South Shore town of Duxbury. Her songs have found their way onto the Grammy ballots, as well as her performances. Kate is truly an artist, and a stylist with a very bright future.
