We always knew Carrie Underwood shined brightly, and now she's getting her own star in Hollywood to prove it!
BREAKING: Carrie Underwood will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame as part of the class of 2018!
Carrie Underwood is part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2018, making her the first country artist to receive the honor since Vince Gill in 2012!!!
Underwood has been staying fairly quiet since finishing her Storyteller Tour, but this news is certainly garnering her a lot of well-deserved attention!
Carrie will be joining 6 other musicians in the class of 2018, including: Mary J. Blige, Petula Clark, Harry Connick Jr., Ice T, Snoop Dogg and “Weird Al” Yankovich!
There has been no date set for the ceremony as of yet, but we do know it has to take place within 2 years of the inductee being selected, so hopefully it'll be soon!
Wonder if when Carrie Underwood was working on "American Idol," if she ever imagined one day she'd be receiving a star on the Walk of Fame, which is on the same street as where they held the "AI" finale!!!
