Oh dear! Judging by a recent tweet, it would appear "The Voice" had a good chuckle at Kelsea Ballerini's expense.
Whether or not the tweet actually related back to Ballerini is questionable, but the country singer didn't miss the opportunity to mention the reference in a Tweet.
Labrador puppies. Clydesdale horse. Country breeze. Motorcycle. Wallet chain. Grandma's lemonade. Bale of hay. Children. Really really really long fabric train. Giant crowd. Choir boys. A thousand people on a porch. Baby cow. #TheVoice has it all Monday, February 26 on @nbc. ???? https://t.co/HNlICeBCud
In a new show promo, The Voice mentioned a "really really really long fabric train," which obviously resonated with Ballerini, who wore a really really really long fabric train in her video shoot for "Peter Pan" a few years ago.
Ballerini playfully responded and directed her tweet at Kelly Clarkson, who also responded.
If you're gonna get made fun of, better hope it's by the Queen @kelly_clarkson ???????????? #peterpan #reallyreallyreallylongfabrictrain #ILOVEHER https://t.co/sy8ryN8HpK
Okay ???????????? I swear I never saw that video and that this was not my concept hahaha but damn I just watched your video and I'm dying laughing because it does appear as if we were poking fun at you ???? you're my girl!
Clarkson let it be known that the reference wasn't her doing. She also mentioned she hadn't seen the video for "Peter Pan" until now, and wanted Ballerini to know that it was all just a coincidence.
