On December 29 at the Kennedy Center Honors, the Eagles were supposed to be celebrated for their historic and influential musical career. Unfortunately, founder Glenn Frey, was unable to attend due to surgery. And like the Musketeers's, The Eagles are apparently "all for one and one for all," so they opted to wait for their honors until next year. Enter: Miranda Lambert. Lambert paid musical props to the iconic country rock band with a performance of their 1973 album title cut, "Desperado." Her elegantly restrained, yet powerful version of the classic song was truly stunning.
