2017’s “CMA Fest” Set For TV, Names Hosts
The groundwork is being laid for this summer’s television special surrounding the 2017 CMA Music Festival and things are going to be a little different from past years.
For starters, Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini will host to the three-hour special, which is set to air August 16th on ABC. The broadcast has been renamed, too. Known in past years as CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock, this year’s show will be called CMA Fest: The Music Event Of Summer. The show is filmed during the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, which takes place this week in Nashville (6/8-11). 2017 will be its 12th year on TV.
