ICYMI: The CMT Awards Opening Skit Spoof On Nashville

It had moments of funny, moments of wow, and moments of …ughh.  The star-studded cast in the opening sketch of the 2017 CMT Music Awards was truly impressive. The line-up included Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell, Little Big Town, Kelllie Pickler, Thomas Rhett and BIlly Ray Cyrus. So, there’s our wow! Luke Bryan is a natural comedian, just easy in his delivery. There’s our funny. Now, the “ughh.” Billy Ray Cyrus. His lines were delivered fine, he is an actor, after all. Kind of. But the lines he read left a bad taste lingering. How did you like the opening skit?
