Those who regularly frequent Sephora are used to hearing about their Beauty Insider points. In fact, if you’re like most people, you probably have hundreds or even thousands saved because you just keep accumulating them each time you visit the store.
But that may change soon, as the beauty retailer has announced that soon these points will have an expiration date.
After a July 10th policy update, the store now states that if you don’t touch your points for more than a year and a half, they disappear. But before you get all upset and start hate-tweeting Sephora, here’s what you should know: the points only expire if you don’t make any purchases or redemptions in that time frame.

Basically, even if you buy something small, they stay.
And we’re pretty sure you won’t have trouble making a Sephora purchase at least once every year and a half, right?
