Thomas Rhett, Daughter Willa Gray Squeeze In Some Quality Time
As Thomas Rhett awaits the arrival of his first biological daughter, he’s getting in some quality daddy/daughter time with adopted daughter Willa Gray.
The “Die A Happy Man” singer took to Instagram Sunday to show off some recent photo booth fun, which apparently happened at The Cannery Ballroom in Nashville. Little Willa appeared was right at ease, making playful faces at the camera alongside dear old dad.
Thomas and wife Lauren expect to see their biological daughter on or around her due date of August 8th. In the meantime, Thomas is trying to be as supportive as possible. He’s got a secret weapon, too: ice cream.
“Ice cream is her normal life craving and it’s intensified when she’s pregnant,” he says through his record label. “So we always keep our freezer pretty stocked full of different flavors of ice cream. But I just feel bad for her, like I know how uncomfortable she is and how ready she is to just have the baby. So there’s nothing much I can do about that except be a support system.”
Thomas’ last show before his wife’s due date is Saturday (7/29) in Yerington, NV. His schedule appears clear after that until August 18th, when he plays Brownsville, OR. See a list of subsequent dates here.
