More Gold Hardware, A New Album And A Headlining Tour For Dustin Lynch
What’s a good way to crank up the fun factor during a new album-reveal party? Shiny new record plaques! That’s how Dustin Lynch‘s record label Broken Bow is handling it at least.
The Tennessee native was recently presented with two such wall-hangers recognizing gold certification for both “Seein’ Red” and “Small Town Boy.” It happened during the reveal party for his third album Current Mood, which happened place this week at the historic George Dickel Distillery in Dustin’s hometown of Tullahoma.

The new project drops September 9th and fans who pre-order will instantly get “Love Me Or Leave Me Alone,” which features vocals from Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild. The project is a departure of sorts for the hat-clad singer, who told Rolling Stone Country that “there’s not a whole lot of country on here.”
“Sultry” is one word that’s been used to describe the album and Dustin isn’t making apologies. “There wasn’t really a moment where I went, ‘OK, I want to do this type of record,'” Dustin told the publication. “It came organically. Each song was a moment of passion between myself and whatever producer we recorded it with. Every song came together slowly and with purpose.”
The “Small Town Boy” singer will also embark on his first headlining tour this fall. It kicks off November 3rd. Keep a close watch on his concert calendar here.
