A Loss For The Pats, But A Win For Maren Morris!
The outcome of last night’s season and home opener for the Patriots, was not what we wanted, or anticipated. And the expectations were high, perhaps too high. However, when Grammy Award winning, platinum recording artist Maren Morris hit the field to perform the National Anthem, it was a huge win! Decked out in her shiny new Pats baseball styled jacked, she seemed to struggle with her ear pieces at first. Always the pro, Morris removed the plugs and championed on. She even seemed to revel in the moment toward the end of the song when she realized everyone was singing along with her. Just after to her performance, Maren posted this:

Can you image the courage it takes to take on this song, this stadium, these fans? Maren performed, persevered and produced the win…like a champion. #DoYourJob
We all know, this was merely a glitch in the Patriots playbook. We’ll come back, stronger than ever. And keep in mind, that New England has gone on to win the last three Super Bowls in seasons where we lost in the opener.
