Over the weekend, Eric Paslay shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram.

Paslay wrote that his 90-year-old grandfather had recently passed away.

Cicil Paslay had been employed by Goodyear and was an avid country music fan. Once, Paslay’s grandfather worked the lighting during a Willie Nelson show.

Throughout the years, Cicil was a regular at Eric’s shows. In fact, at the beginning of Paslay’s career, he would often purchase 10 cd’s at Eric’s shows — hiding the remaining nine from the country singer.

We’re sending prayers to the entire Paslay family during this difficult time.
