Dustin Lynch Keeps No. 1 With “Small Town Boy”
Scoring a No. 1 is special in and of itself, but Dustin Lynch is celebrating a little something extra.
The Tennessee native is sitting at the top of Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart for the fourth consecutive week with “Small Town Boy.” It’s the first song to accomplish the feat since Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” in early 2016.
“I always knew ‘Small Town Boy’ was something special, but to be No. 1 for four weeks is absolutely incredible,” he says through his publicist. “It’s been amazing to see people embrace this song and to have the continued support of country radio. If I had to sum up my ‘current mood’ right now, it’d definitely be pumped!” Current Mood is Dustin’s third studio album.
