"Country" means lots of things to lots of people, but Luke Bryan is about to provide some clarity.

The "Light It Up" singer revealed recently on ABC's Good Morning America that he'll release his sixth studio album What Makes You Country on December 8th. "My favorite part of making a new album is getting to collaborate with the songwriting community in this town," Luke says of Nashville. "It is important to me to continue to push myself to grow on all levels and I feel like we did that on this project. Making and performing music never gets old and I can honestly say I am having the time of my life. I will be forever grateful to every fan who sings along each night."

As for he project's name, "I think with so many labels out there, everybody gets real ... defensive about well, are you real country?" he tells ABC. "[The title track] kind of talks about [how] it doesn't matter where you're from. You know, if you like to go horseback riding once a year, well that makes you country."

A digital campaign surrounding the album features fans, celebrity friends and others explaining what "country" means to them. Check out some of 'em and even submit your own explanation here.
