Country Rising Concert To Also Raise Money For Las Vegas Shooting Victims
Country Rising, the November 12th Nashville concert initially aimed at supporting victims of the recent hurricanes, has expanded in scope to include victims of the October 1st shooting in Las Vegas.
Keith Urban has also added his name to a list of performers that already included Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Chris Stapleton, George Strait and Carrie Underwood. Garth Brooks, meanwhile, has canceled his appearance at the event due to newly added shows for his tour stops in Spokane on that date. The megastar will instead donate proceeds from those performances to the The Country Rising Fund.
