Country 102.5 Artist To Watch: Devin Dawson
His debut single “All On Me” is quickly becoming a favorite as it continues to climb the charts… So, where did Devin Dawson come from seemingly out of nowhere??? I’m sure if he were here telling you his story he would tell you it definitely isn’t out of nowhere.
Dawson told People magazine about his life not long ago with his band, “We were literally playing heavy metal, screaming, super fast, technical death metal.” He went on to say, “I had literally been on the road 300 days a year for 5 years, I needed to get away from that kind of artist.”
What kind of artist is that, exactly? The all about “me, me, me,” he needed a break from “himself.” Dawson packed up and headed to Nashville to focus on songwriting and it seems like that was a pretty good choice, huh?!

His debut album, “Dark Horse” arrives in stores January 19th, 2018, which seems like forever away until you realize we’re already to mid-November (where does the time go?!)
