Carrie Underwood Updates Fans In Very Personal Letter
As a Carrie Underwood fan, I know that I’ve been worried about her. She took a nasty fall. She basically took herself out of the public eye for months because of it. She even felt the need to warn us she may never look the same again. But after reading a very sweet letter she wrote to the fans, it’s safe to say, Carrie is doing just fine.
The letter that she published on her official website starts off with:
“First off, physically, I’m doing pretty darn good these days! My wrist is almost back to normal, about 90% there…and the docs say that last 10% will come in time. And my face has been healing pretty nicely as well. I definitely feel more like myself than I have in a while.”
Considering how scared she seemed to be seen before, it was great to see such a positive, happy post from Carrie. She went on to talk about what she’s been up to the last few months, which has included a lot of family time, releasing “Champion” and the success that’s come with that track and of course MORE new music.
“I’ve been in the studio writing and singing a TON, but I’ve also been able to be creative in a way that I’ve never been before, which has been very fulfilling and empowering.”
Her first single from her upcoming release is entitled “Cry Pretty” and she says it’s “a song I love so much and can’t wait to share with you.” It’ll be out bright and early Wednesday morning and you’ll definitely be hearing it with us on Country 102.5! Stay tuned!
