A Country Star’s Brother Has Just Passed Away
We’re sending prayers to Ashley McBryde today after the passing of her brother, Clay.
The country singer took to Instagram to let her fans know her brother was no longer with us, and asked that people donate to Mission 22 in her brother’s honor, rather than send flowers.
For those unfamiliar with the charity, it’s primary goal is to help veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
According to One Country, Clay passed on at his residence, which is located in Arkansas.
At the time of his death, he was 53 years old.
The retired army vet and police officer is survived by his wife, son, five siblings, and his father.
At this time, his cause of death has not been revealed to the public.
