We’re Keeping Lauren Alaina’s Family In Our Thoughts As She Cancels Appearence
Lauren Alaina was due to perform in Rochester tonight, but had to cancel last minute due to a “family medical emergency.”
The “Doin’ Fine” singer took to her social media pages to apologize for missing the event writing, “I’m really sorry I can’t be there. Love you guys.” The singer was scheduled to perform at the Bands For Bernard which is a Summer Concert Series put on by a local radio station.

Although Alaina didn’t elaborate on the nature of the family emergency however she did reveal back in June that her stepfather, Sam Ramker was suffering from stage 4 cancer.
Alaina’s mother also commented on Ramker’s GoFundMe page on Tuesday with an update on Ramker’s condition, “Update on Sam! He is currently in ICU due to an infection in his lungs. Today they are going to be draining the fluid. Please keep us in your prayers.”
