How Much Would You Pay for an Extra Hour of Sleep?
Being a new parent can be a difficult adjustment just ask new mother Cardi B who tweeted about her baby Kulture not sleeping or Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who canceled an appearance due to daddy exhaustion.
A new survey by Mattress Firm asked 2,000 parents about their sleep habits and 48 percent of those polled said they would pay $1,598 just to get an extra hour of sleep.
27 percent of those polled said they would only eat baby food for a year if their baby would sleep when they did. The survey also noted that dads get more sleep, with 67 percent of mothers saying dads slept more and only 21 percent of men saying the same for their partners.
The survey also revealed that it takes 6 months for parents to get adjusted to having a new baby and with people telling parents 144 times a year on average that they “look tired” doesn’t help.
