How To Help The Victims Of The Merrimack Valley Fires

Thousands of people in Lawrence, North Andover and Andover were asked to evacuate after there were dozens of explosions and fires.

Shelters have opened their doors to those displaced and are looking for supplies.

The following centers have been opened:

  • Parthum Elementary School- 255 East Haverhill St in Lawrence, Mass.
  • St. Mary's Church Hampshire and Central Catholic High School on 300 Hampshire Street
  • Field House at North Andover High School- 430 Osgood St. in N. Andover, Mass.
  • North Andover High School- 430 Osgood St, North Andover, Mass.
  • Andover Cormier Youth Center- 40 Whittier Ct. in Andover, Mass.
  • Arlington Street School- 150 Arlington St. in Lawrence, Mass.
  • MSPCA Nevins Farm- 400 Broadway in Methuen, Mass. (For those with animals needing care)
  • MSPCA Angell Medical Center- 350 S. Huntington Ave. in Jamaica Plain (For those with animals needing care)
  • The Salem Waterfront Hotel

The Salvation Army is taking cash donations, which is the best way to help at this time. 100% of all cash donations will go back to Emergency Disaster Services. By clicking this link, donations will stay local to support Salvation Army Massachusetts Emergency Disaster Services.

The Red Cross is also taking direct donations which will stay in Massachusetts.
