Troy Gentry’s Widow Has Found A Way To Keep His Memory Alive
It’s been over a year since Troy Gentry passed away, but his widow has found a new way to honor him.
Angie Gentry and some of the country star’s friends, have breathed life into a new charity in her late husband’s name.
According to All Access, the Troy Gentry Foundation aims to provide financial support to cancer research, military families, and music education.
The mission of the organization stems from the causes that were near and dear to Troy’s heart before his tragic death.
While Troy is gone now, his widow hopes the organization will help keep his spirit alive.
To kickoff fundraising efforts, a benefit concert, called C’YA ON THE FLIPSIDE, will take place at the Grand Ole Opry on January 9.
The show will be hosted by Blake Shelton, with Troy’s former bandmate, Eddie Montgomery, slated to perform.
Other artists scheduled to hit the stage at the benefit show include, Chris Janson, Craig Morgan, Justin Moore, Jon Pardi, Rascal Flatts, Jimmie Allen, and more.
