Trisha Yearwood to Release First Album In 10 Years!
She’s back, but it might not be exactly what you were expecting…
Trisha Yearwood’s last full length studio release was in “Love Songs” way back in 2008. Fans, have no fear! SHE’S BACK!
The country star is preparing to release an album full of standards from the one and only Frank Sinatra and she spoke exclusively to People magazine about the project.
“I’ve been wanting to make this record for 20 years! I have always loved standards, and nobody sings them better than Sinatra. I’m honored to get the chance to pay tribute to him and the songwriters in these timeless classics.”
People goes on to say: For the album, Yearwood recorded the timeless tracks live with an orchestra at the iconic Capitol Records building in Hollywood using Sinatra’s microphone and sitting on the same stool where he sat while recording the originals.
The album, “Let’s Be Frank,” will hit shelves on December 20th exclusively at Williams-Sonoma and then in all stores in February.
