Chris Janson Gets Gold on His Opry Anniversary
Chris Janson played the stage of the Grand Ole Opry last night in Nashville on the one-year anniversary of becoming a member of the Opry.
For Janson and many more country stars the Opry stage is sacred. So, to celebrate his one-year anniversary of becoming a member, Janson was presented on stage with a plaque for his song “Drunk Girl” going gold selling 500,00 copies.
The Opry tweeted out: “He debuted “Drunk Girl” on the #Opry stage, and now it’s gone gold. Congratulations, @janson_chris”
