After years of being told she wasn’t good enough, wasn’t pretty enough, wasn’t talented enough…Lady Gaga took home an Oscar for a song from a movie she starred in. She’s come incredibly far like so many of your favorite names and like many of them, could’ve thrown the towel in a long time ago. Take her words below and know hard work can pay off!
“If you are at home and you’re sitting on your couch and you are watching this right now, all I have to say is this is hard work. I’ve worked hard for a long time and it’s not about winning. But what it’s about is not giving up. If you have a dream, fight for it. There is a discipline for passion and it’s not about how many times you get rejected, or you’ve fallen down or been beaten up. It’s about how many times you stand up and are brave and you keep on going. Thank you!”
