Thomas Rhett Takes His ‘Resilient’ Kids Everywhere, Including Australia
Thomas Rhett and is wife Lauren take their two daughters with them everywhere, including on recent trips to Europe and Australia.
Since becoming parents almost four years ago, Thomas has realized that kids are pretty resilient. He says, “Ada, she falls every four steps and I feel like if I fell that way I’d get up crying, and she’s just like just laughing it off and she keeps walking. Just getting to see our kids, just kind of every week, being at home and then getting on the bus and then gettin’ on a plane, and they just kind of go along with your life. And I’ve never thought that it would be that way but it’s been a very nice surprise, man. There’s just not a dull moment. Our house is chaotic 24/7 in all the best ways.”
The family recently shared a big experience in Australia as his girls cuddled with koala bears at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. His wife Lauren posted to Instagram, “Some new friends down under today! Ada James liked the animals more than the pictures seem hahah and Willa Gray was as comfortable with them as she looks they’re both little animal lovers.”
Rhett’s daughters, Ada and Willa, will be featured in the video for his upcoming song, “Look What God Gave Her.”
