[WATCH] Pool Side To Toy Story Land And More! Marissa’s Loving Orlando…
When I left Boston early Saturday morning, it was 34 degrees and snowing. I definitely didn’t mind the opportunity to hop a plane and head to sunny Orlando, Florida, where it’s been a comfortable 82 degrees since landing! We’re only starting our second full day and we’ve already done so much. Saturday after we checked in, we were able to hang out by the pool and catch our breath from the travel. It instantly felt like Summer, (which I so can’t wait for that to be a reality!) Around 5pm our group gathered and boarded the quick shuttle to head to Toy Story Land.
I don’t know a single human who doesn’t enjoy that movie. How can you not?! It’s everything we all grew up with and more. It’s the best. So, walking in and seeing all the toys and color and rides, to say you feel like a kid all over again is an understatement.
Within this part of the park, there is also a section for The Incredibles where the characters come out and do a show and you can meet their famous fashion designed, Edna!
From there, we were whisked away to Disney’s Epcot. It’s always an amazing experience visiting every nook of each city and culture they’ve brought to life. You travel around the world as you walk through all of the beautiful architecture. But, right now, they also have their annual Flower and Garden Show! It’s happening through April and you’ll find your favorite characters created throughout the park.
Sunday was our second day in town and it was more low key with a lot of pool side relaxation, a salt spa treatment at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando’s exclusive spa and an amazing dinner at the #1 rated Orlando restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews, La Luce!
The salt spa treatment experience is something perfect for those with bad allergies, breathing issues, it helps treat the skin and more benefits with the medical grade salt. The walls are lined with beautiful pink hued Himalayan brick salt, as you lay in the chair and inhale the goodness!
At La Luce our taste buds got to try a little bit of everything…you’ll see just what I mean, in the video below:
Dinner was DELICIOUS! Perfect way to end Day 2 in Orlando, La Luce (aka the #1 rated restaurant in town on Trip Advisor.) We ate a little of everything... #WAOFoodie #WaldorfOrlando pic.twitter.com/qF2bwNG50T
