I give Kyrie Irving a lot of crap. I'm honest about it and even he's admitted his attitude has been less than stellar throughout the season. I'm also not for a show-boat, which I feel he loves to try to be (most of the time.) Yes, he has skills, I will never ever deny him that. I just am not a fan of any player that drives from one end of the court to the other to force a play, over and over with little result (again, a lot of times, not all the time.)
Tonight, however, he was ready. This isn't the "look at me" Kyrie who is just seemingly trying to show off (in my eyes) this was the Kyrie that came in focused and ready for a W.
It's plays like this...focused:
Ending the game with: Almost 40 minutes of action, 37 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds...
My MVP of the game goes to Kyrie Irving. Even the players that rub me the wrong way at times, I have to give credit where credit is due. Unless it's Lebron.
The Celtics lead the series 2-0, with Game 3 Friday night in Indiana!
Special look into the play that stole the game back from the Pacers as highlighted from the Celtics Facebook page:
