Kelsea Ballerini has been hard at work on her next album to follow up her Unapologetically project.
As Kelsea shared with us, she’s been writing songs with some famous names, “It’s been so much fun to get in the room with people that I’ve looked up to forever like Ryan Setter and Julia Michaels and Ed Sheeran. It’s really fun to be able to write with other artists too. I haven’t really done that before so you’re in the room and they have the perspective of what it’s gonna be like on stage and how you’re gonna be able to communicate it and interviews and all that stuff. They have that knowledge. So it’s a different perspective writing with them. I feel like I’ve grown a lot as a songwriter from that.”
Ballerini just wrapped up CMA Fest 2019 where she co-hosted a TV special along with Thomas Rhett; the special will air on ABC in August.
She recently posted from the CMA Fest ball pit, “Oh just having a ball!
