Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line has made a stance on gun control after the mass shootings in Ohio and Texas.

Tyler posted a video to his Instagram and he wrote, "I still believe this is an important conversation that we can’t be afraid to have. Especially all of us who love our guns and want to protect our rights as Americans. Let’s get uncomfortable, address this issue, and really make this country a safe place to live. If we want to put an end to gun violence it has to start with us. We can make a change."

The video shows one hunter that was present at the Borderline club shooting in California. He said," Twelve of my friends died that night."

After explaining that they love to hunt and their personal connection to the Borderline club, both men in the video want tougher background checks with one saying, "We need to keep firearms out of the hands of people that mean to do harm."

The mass shooting took place on November 7, 2018, in Thousand Oaks, California, at the Borderline Bar and Grill, a country bar frequented by college students.

The video ends with the message "Text MITCH To Call Your Senator And Demand Universal Background Checks."
