Sheepscot General Farm in Whitefield, Maine became only the second public Pick Your Own Hemp field in the United States. 50 people showed up at the farm when it opened to the public for picking on Wednesday. The hemp is the variety of cannabis that will not get you high but can be used to make CBD oils.
In case you’re wondering the farm also grows strawberries (mmm… munchies) and has a general store.
