Huge Stash Of Pot-Laced Candy Seized In Peabody Just Before Halloween
Once again, police officials are asking parents to remain vigilant in checking over their kids’ candy this Halloween season.
An investigation by Peabody Police snagged “several hundred thousands of dollars worth of illegal marijuana products,” according to the department.
Those products included “Wonka Bars” and “Nerds Rope” lookalikes laced with THC, according to photos posted on the Peabody Police’s Facebook page on Monday morning.
There were also Rice Krispies-style candy, “Wicked Krispies,” and Gummy Worm-inspired “Wicked Wormz.”
“It appears the Black Market is still viable,” Peabody Police stated on social media.
