Florida Georgia Line Appreciates Our Veterans
Florida Georgia Line constantly support our troops; they’ve participated in the WWE’s Tribute to the Troops, and last year’s World’s Biggest USO Tour. Brian Kelley’s grandfather was a P.O.W. and a two-time Purple Heart Recipient.
Brian Kelley says of men and women like his grandfather, “We’re very, very grateful for those that are serving now, that have served and that are going to serve, because we live in the best country.”
Kelley and Tyler often have a chance to meet veterans or active duty military personnel at their shows, and Kelley says, “The crazy thing is, people come in meet and greets that serve and they say, ‘Thank you for dong what you do.’ And it’s, ‘Thank YOU GUYS.’ I mean, anything we can do for our troops, we jumped at the opportunity.”
Veteran’s Day is Monday (11/11).
