Empire actor Jussie Smollett has now filed a counter-suit against the city of Chicago. He claims that he was the victim of “Malicious prosecution” that caused him substantial economic damages as well as harm to his reputation , humiliation, mental anguish and extreme emotional stress. The counterclaim targets the city, the Chicago police dept, the two main detectives that worked on the case, and the Osundario brothers. It doesn’t say how much he’s looking for but based on all of the drama surrounding what happened at the end of last year, I’d say it’s going to be a lot.
