Hey it's Ayla Brown!

With the holidays coming up, what do you think 6 year old's are asking Santa for this year? What are the trends? Legos? Superhero swag?

Well this local 6 year old Worcester boy is already a super hero and he needs our help! His name is Carlos Rolon and he is waiting for a heart transplant.

On Aug 31st, Carlos was admitted to Boston Children’s Hospital with an infection and Doctors told him that he wouldn’t be able to go home until he got a new heart.

It’s been 96 days in the hospital and he will have to spend Christmas there too.

His mom says that he’s been seeing a lot of kids come and go and he doesn’t understand why he doesn’t get to go home like them. She explained to him that once he gets a new heart he’ll be able to leave.

But there’s a way we can make Carlos feel loved and special this Christmas...by granting him his Christmas wish! He wants to decorate his hospital room with cards from people from the community.

Get your pens out…
