Patriots linebacker Kyle Van Noy has been named the Patriots nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award - one of the league's most prestigious awards.
Kyle and his wife Marissa started the Van Noy Valor Foundation to help initiatives relating to adopted, foster and disadvantaged youth who are in need. The Man of the Year Award recognizes an NFL player for outstanding community service activities off the field, as well as excellence on the field.
Van Noy will now wear a Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee decal on his helmet for the rest of the season. The winner of the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award will be announced the night before the Super Bowl and will receive a $250,000 donation to the charity of their choice.
New England is proud of Kyle Van Noy!
