David Josef’s Fashion HOT’s and NOT’s at the 2020 Golden Globes
Overall….. DISAPPOINTING
Trends: Big, Huge BOWS!!! Crazy
Big puffy sleeves.
Shear fabrics
Underwear showing
Ugly floral prints.
Lots of strapless again….. yawn! Nicole Kidman, Scarlett Johansson, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez. Renée Zellweger
HUGE BOWS: Jennifer Lopez, Scarlett Johansson
Best dressed: Renée Zellweger in a blue strapless lightly beaded gown. Classic but a perfect fit and beautiful lines
WORST DRESSED: Hands down, Gweneth Paltrow
Everyone else was disappointing. Jennifer Lopez was off the mark this time In a gold metallic black bowed strapless gown with a white taffeta ball gown skirt. Not her finest hour
Charlize Theron in a Bizzarre one shoulder toga gown with a black bustiers underwear piece showing. Not her finest hour either.
Reese Witherspoon in a lovely White mother of the bride gown.
Sofia Vergara comes in as a runner up for best dressed. Even though it’s just another strapless gown, beautiful rust color, beautiful fit and just enough bling.
Nicole Kidman in a red strapless traditional nothing exciting Gown.
Kerry Washington in a 2-pc tuxedo with no blouse.
Overall, it was a disappointing night for Hollywood’s biggest party. Party dresses, pants suits, fun fashion is usually the way people dress for the Golden Globes. But not this year. Everyone played it very safe except for a few very bizarre pieces like on actress Jodi Comer.
