Mark Wahlberg is starring in a new Netflix original murder conspiracy film based right here in Boston. "Spencer Confidential" follows an ex-cop (Wahlberg) and an aspiring MMA fighter (played by Winston Duke) as they unravel the conspiracy and work together to solve a double homicide.
The film also stars Post Malone, Alan Arkin, Iliza Shlesinger, Bokeem Woodbine, Cassie Ventura, and Donald Cerrone.
It's directed by Peter Berg. Wahlberg and Berg have collaborated on 4 other movies including 2016's "Patriots Day."
"Spencer Confidential" debuts March 6th on Netflix.
