“Lizzie McGuire” Reboot Production Shuts Down Abruptly
This is not a good sign for Lizzie McGuire and Gordo. Production for the Disney + reboot of the iconic early 2000’s Disney sitcom has shut down after shooting just 2 episodes.
Details are very scarce but a spokesperson for Disney told Variety, “After filming two episodes, we concluded that we need to move in a different direction and are putting a new lens on the series.”
In addition to production shutting down, the creator of the revival Terri Minsky has quit.
Not a good sign. I’m sure more details will be coming when Hillary Duff gets back from her honeymoon.
