It's The Hunger Games meets Harvard as Elizabeth Banks has been selected as the 2020 Woman of the Year by Harvard's Hasty Pudding theater troupe.

Banks was chosen because of her influence as an actress, writer, and director. She was born locally in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and is best known for starring as Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games series and as Gail Abernathy-McKadden in the Pitch Perfect film series.

There will be a parade for Banks on January 31st. She will then be awarded the coveted pudding pot.

Hasty Pudding has honored Women of the Year since 1951.
