Thomas Rhett is nominated for Best Country Album Center Point Road.

Thomas admits it's hard to wrap his head around the nomination. He said, “It’s just wild. When you get nominated for an album, it really does mean the world to be recognized by the Grammys… it’s ridiculous.”

Rhett's album Center Point Road features several songs inspired by his own wife and his daughters, like his most recent #1 song, “Remember You Young,” and he says, “This album was just so personal, and… I wish I knew how the voting happened. I wish I could have been in the room where I heard why my record [was nominated]. But it was really vulnerable, and it talks about my family and my hometown and one of the deeper albums that I’ve made. And so it’s really cool to see that be celebrated.”

The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards will air this Sunday, January 26th, on CBS.
