According to their survey, entitled The Pressures of Valentine's Day & Dating, 1 in 5 single people wish Valentines Day was canceled. Furthermore, 43% of single people say they feel a ton of pressure to get into a relationship when Valentine's Day comes around.
The survey concludes that all the pressure comes from society's expectations, the commercialization and advertising around Valentine's Day, and the dreaded social media hype.
