In 20-something years there could be a lot more Tom Brady's in the NFL... because according to a new study the Patriots quarterback tops the list of most popular athlete-inspired baby names among millennials.
20 percent of millennials surveyed said they'd name their child after Brady, earning him the number one spot on the list. When you widen the ages surveyed beyond millenials Brady comes in second to David Beckham, who tops the overall list.
Another consideration that put Tom Brady on top of the baby name list for millenials is that there are two options: Tom or Brady, and in the survey each name was equally popular. In one case, a pair of Massachusetts Patriots fans named their first son Brady and their second Tom.
