“I Wish Grandpas Never Died” by newcomer Riley Green is closing in on the top ten on the country charts this week.

Riley is a pretty healthy guy and he's fairly disciplined about it, but he says “I feel like I could eat a tub of ice cream at any point in time, just vanilla ice cream. I catch myself tricking myself into thinking that because it’s got milk in it, it’s, like, good for you. I will lie to myself quite a bit.”

Besides trying to rationalize the health benefits of ice cream, Riley also says, “I feel like any type of Italian food, I feel like I could go to any Italian place and just make myself sick eating it any time. So that’s probably my favorite guilty pleasure, I guess.”

Green will have plenty going on to burn off any extra calories as he opens for Jason Aldean on his "We Back" tour.

Riley posted to Instagram recently, "We do things a little Different Round Here. #countrymusic #differentroundhere #weback."
