The Boston Red Sox have quarantined a 20 year old pitcher from Taiwan in a South Florida hotel room over fears about the Coronavirus. The pitcher is Chih-Jung Liu and he arrived last week to start his first spring training with the Sox but the team is taking a safe approach to the situation which is why he’s in a hotel room. This is the second player from Taiwan who’s been quarantined due to the virus fears.

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Boston Red Sox have not quarantined minor league pitcher Chih-Jung Liu for fear of the coronavirus, the team's vice president of media relations Kevin Gregg said Wednesday. Erroneous reports Wednesday stated that the team had quarantined the 20-year-old Taiwanese right-hander after he had arrived in Fort Myers from his Asian homeland last week.

Squeeky clean George Clooney is taking action against a company that he’s been endorsing for years…Nespresso. He’s been the face of that brand since 2006 Looks like the Nespresso claimed that all of its coffee beans were sourced ethically, but after a journalist was given access to remote Guatemalan farms, it had children working in the fields. George has released a statement saying that he grew up on a tobacco farm from the time he was 12 so he is uniquely aware of the complex issues regarding farming and child labor. He also mentioned that clearly the board and the company have some work to do. Now Nespresso says that they have a zero tolerance for child labor and it’s immediately launching an investigation into the matter. They won’t be purchasing coffee beans from farms in that area until the investigation is closed.
