What a week Jimmie Allen is having!
Earlier today, it was announced that Jimmie's 2nd single, "Make Me Want To," has hit #1 on the Mediabase country chart! This now makes Jimmie 2 for 2! His 1st single, "Best Shot," hit #1 in 2018.
Now, comes news that Jimmie and his fiance, Alexis, welcomed their baby girl into the world yesterday! Naomi Betty Allen was born yesterday (the day Jimmie found out his song was going #1)!
In a radio interview today, Allen said, ""I thought that getting a No. 1 [single] was going to be the best part of my day, but then my daughter, Naomi, was born yesterday," the singer gushed. "The baby's middle name is Betty, we named her after my grandma [who passed away in 201 -- so her initials are NBA, go figure."
Naomi's new dad won't have much time to change diapers and do midnight feedings because he is off to Europe and Australia for about 3 1/2 weeks.
