One thing that keeps many people traveling through the seemingly-endless maze of IKEA is knowing that it ends with a gravy-laden platter of their mouth-poppable Swedish meatballs. They've been a staple at IKEA for years and years - and they're about to get a little 2020 plant-based makeover.
A report from Business Insider claims that IKEA is currently working on a plant-based version of their iconic Swedish meatballs and that they plan to launch them in their store cafes this August.
So vegetarians and vegans alike - welcome to the IKEA "meat"ball party!
