This is proof that you can do almost anything if you put your mind on it and work into it. Congratulations to 25 year-old Boston resident Molly Seidel who ran her first marathon this past Saturday in Atlanta... and qualified for the 2020 Olympic Games this summer in Tokyo.

Seidel placed 2nd in the U.S. Olympic marathon trials, becoming one of three American women qualifying for the 2020 Olympics. She finished with a time of 2:27:31, second only to Aliphine Tuliamuk, another soon-to-be first-time-Olympian.

Molly works two jobs in Boston - babysitting and as a barista - in order to pursue running. It obviously has paid off. Congratulations on all of your hard work leading up to going to the Olympics, By-Golly-Molly! Boston is super proud of you!
