Disney Princesses Out Of Work
Let’s talk Disney! First, Disney Princesses and characters are out of work and struggling to get by (like most musicians, bartenders, and pretty much everyone else) But besides the point, they have taken a financial hit of about $200,000 for March and April alone and they are estimating a loss of $1mil in gross income. The troupe says this is the usually the biggest time for events. They have 2,000 employees across 27 different cities. They are trying the virtual booking thing. Booking 7 virtual gigs a day where princesses and characters interact with kids virtually. Disney lovers can still get a dose of Disney if they have one of those virtual reality headsets. You can now ride any ride virtually. Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion and more. Just go on the YouTube channel called Virtual Disney World.
Miranda Lambert has taken to social media to express her growing anxiety during this time. She showed a photo of a gift that he parents sent her in the mail. It consisted of a couple bottles of wine, snacks and a handwritten note from her mom and dad.
“I haven’t really known what to say on social media during all of this. I’m not great at social anyway and a time like this makes it much more difficult for me to figure out how to be. Once I processed it, I actually got a feeling of peace even though, like all of us, my anxiety about the state of the world now is still through the roof.” She says she’s been trying to make the most of it with virtual happy hours with friends, cooking, cleaning and spending time with her husband, dogs and horses.

Joe Exotic, the “star” of the Netflix series Tiger King is in jail. If you don’t know why, just watch the documentary because I don’t want to spoil it….; But there’s a celebrity that is coming to his defense and wants to set him free! That person is Cardi B. She went on twitter just a couple of days ago and started trash talking Carole Baskin, who happens to be Joe Exotic’s arch enemy and the reason he’s in jail. Read more about it HERE:

I spoke a few weeks ago about whether the prime minister of Canada would have tax payers pay for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle if they made their permanent home Canada. He said they the country will not pay for their security. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the US would also NOT pay to protect the soon-to-be ex-royals if they move to the US. A Sussex spokesperson said in a statement that the Duke and Dutchess of Sussex have no plans to ask the US Govt for security resources. Privately funded security arrangements have been made. From what I’ve heard, the couple is in LA. And Meghan has done voiceover work for Disney.
Crashing FB can actually be a good thing, because it might get you a major network show. That’s what happened to Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood. Just about a week ago they did a FB live and over 3.4 mil people watched it, causing FB to crash multiple times. But no big deal because now they have a prime-time special on CBS called “Garth and Trisha Live!” and it’s airing on Wednesday night at 9pm on CBS! The special will not have a live audience but the couple and CBS will donate $1mil to charities for coronavirus relief.
